# How can a hotel use AI without losing guest data?

Use AI at your hotel by keeping bookings, guests and suppliers in Traiker, outside the chat. Your data is yours: at Traiker we don't train models on it or process it, and you can export or delete it whenever you want. It's the safe place, with templates, for ChatGPT, Claude or Grok to query it through MCP without touching databases or building an app.

In a hotel or a travel agency, information changes every day: bookings arrive through several channels, guests ask for different things and excursion or transfer suppliers confirm by message.

## What's the problem?

That data ends up scattered across the PMS, spreadsheets, email and the team's chats. When a guest asks something specific, someone has to look it up by hand, and what reception knows doesn't always reach the people who need it.

## What Traiker stores (and your agent queries)

- Bookings and stays, with source and status
- Each guest's preferences and requests
- Rates, seasons and cancellation policies
- Transfer, excursion and laundry suppliers
- FAQs about the property and the area

## An example with your assistant

You, in Claude connected to Traiker:

“Which guests are arriving tomorrow with an airport transfer, and who is picking them up?”

The assistant checks the bookings and suppliers you have in Traiker and returns the list with arrival time, number of people and the driver's contact details. It doesn't make things up: if something is missing, it says so.

### Reception with answers

The team asks about schedules, policies or availability in plain language and gets an answer based on the hotel's own data.

### Returning guests

Remember what someone asked for last time (room, pillow, allergies) so you can welcome them better.

### Supplier coordination

Know which transfers and excursions are confirmed and which are still pending, without trawling through chats.

## Frequently asked questions

Does it replace my PMS or booking engine?

No. Traiker doesn't manage bookings or payments. It organises the information that's currently scattered so your team and your AI assistants can query it.

Is my guest data used to train models?

No. Your data is yours: at Traiker we don't train models on it or process it, and you can export or delete it whenever you want. Every company has its own isolated, encrypted database; the assistant only reads what you allow it to, when you ask.

Which assistants does it work with?

With those that support MCP, the open standard already used by Claude, ChatGPT and Grok, among others.

## Shall we try it with your company?

You won't be building an app or designing tables: Traiker gives you a ready, secure database, templates to start from and the MCP connection so ChatGPT, Claude or Grok can work with your data. [See other industries](https://traiker.com/en/solutions).
